Old and new Carver friends gathered for fun fellowship and to learn about the great work being accomplished Carver youth, thanks to the hospitality and leadership of Roz & Phil Butterfield and Angela & Peter Keiser. Funds raised on Friday evening (June 21, 2019) will support Carver’s college scholarship fund.

Here are all the photos from the evening at our Facebook page.

Current Carver college students shared their experiences growing up in Carver community and now as they progress with each of their academic careers. Phil Butterfield spoke of his relationship with Carver through his association with Social Venture Partners, and Novelette Peterkin explained Carver programs and its gradual expansion throughout Norwalk.

Connections are house parties hosted by Carver allies year-round in Norwalk and neighboring towns. We welcome Carver advocates who would like to work with Carver staff to organize their own house party for the benefit of Carver youth.

Social Venture Partners Connecticut (SVP-CT), a program of Fairfield County's Community Foundation, partnered with Carver several years ago to help build our organizational capacity in order to scale our programs and increase their effectiveness.

SVP-CT's selection of Carver followed a lengthy review process. Social Venture Partners (SVP) is a global network.
