Financial Accountability & Transparency
Each year, Carver’s financial audit is “clean” (an unmodified opinion), the best result a nonprofit organization can receive from an independent auditor. It means the financial statements are presented fairly and comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). A clean audit without notes reflects accuracy, transparency, compliance, and effective financial management by the nonprofit. It's the best outcome for inspiring trust and confidence.
Each year, Carver also conducts a Single Audit. This rigorous organization-wide audit is also consistently 100% clean, meaning there are no material findings on performance objectives or non-compliance with federal or state legislation.
