Carver begins its new initiative in Bridgeport!
The Bridgeport Public Schools Board of Directors; Superintendent of Schools, Aresta L. Johnson, Ed.D.; and Principal Helen D. Giles invited Carver to bring its successful after school program to the Classical Studies Magnet Academy (CSMA). This is the first initiative Carver has undertaken outside of Norwalk.

Carver at Side By Side Charter School
Side by Side Charter School was founded in 1997 by six public school educators when Connecticut charter school law first went into effect. It is still the city’s only regional public charter school. Their mission as founders was to create a learning environment where diverse groups of students are challenged academically, encouraged to problem solve, and work cooperatively.
