US Senator Richard Blumenthal and Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling joined dozens of Deloitte employees and Carver staff at the Carver Community Center on Friday, June 7, 2019, on the occasion of Deloitte’s annual day of service—Impact Day.
This is a longstanding tradition at Carver and their 20th year nationally. The Impact Day at Carver was led by a Deloitte Senior Manager and member of the Carver Board of Directors who serves as Carver's Treasurer, Jude Earl Alaba!

Impact Day is a celebration of Deloitte’s year-round commitment to collectively making an impact that matters in our communities. On Impact Day, Deloitte professionals and leaders come together in 80 cities across the country to work on more than 1,000 projects for nearly 190,000 collective hours of service. At Carver, Deloitte volunteers refurbished the inside and outside of the Carver Community Center to prepare us for summer!
Deloitte believes the power of human connection can help foster a more productive, innovative, and inclusive society. By bringing together communities of people, clients, and nonprofits every year on Impact Day and year-round, Deloitte works to harness the collective power to help achieve lasting social impact for the greater good.
For 20 years, Deloitte has celebrated its year-round commitment to making an impact that matters with Impact Day, Deloitte’s annual day of service dedicated to igniting change in the communities across the US where Deloitte and their clients live and work. Impact Day provides opportunities to strengthen communities, deepen relationships with each other, and broaden perspectives on pressing social issues.
