New Canaan's SLOBs (and here) visit Carver youth at least once a year to bring fun and learning to our students. This year the focus was on science and math.

See our Facebook album of photos here (and last year’s photos here).

Nick and Marissa Lambrinos are the project parent liaisons to Carver for the past five years.

Founded in 2004, the New Canaan High School Service League of Boys (SLOBs) is a student/parent run organization that works to foster the parent-son relationship in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development, and education. It is an organization of parents and sons who join together in service and educational endeavors to foster community responsibility as well as strengthen the parent-son relationship.

SLOBs currently serve over 30 philanthropic organizations with over 70 projects. ranging from stocking shelves at the food pantry and clearing trails on New Canaan’s land trust properties to playing poker with our senior citizens. SLOBs is the largest service club at New Canaan High School and has served the community with over 30,000 volunteer hours. We are grateful that Carver is among their charitable commitments!
