Kiera Russo, a New Canaan student, asked her family and friends to support Carver's mission in lieu of receiving gifts for her 16th birthday. Kiera and her family are close friends of longtime Carver donor and volunteer, Carol Howe. Educational gifts and nearly $500 were given to Carver.
