We complete our first month of the new school year at the Classical Studies Magnet School in Bridgeport

Carver begins its second year and completes the first month of this new school year successfully with the first annual Pumpkin Treat Extravaganza for the Classical Studies Magnet Academy (CSMA) students in Bridgeport.

In all our programs across Norwalk and in Bridgeport we highly value Parent Engagement. 26 CSMA parents assisted with the Pumpkin Treat Extravaganza and 42 parents donated treats for this event.

See all the recent videos and photos HERE and HERE of the Pumpkin Treat Extravaganza and of our hands-on, project-based enrichment learning opportunities at CSMA!

Special thanks to our generous hosts, Callie Sullivan and Hugh Montgomery, and to our devoted event committee members, Ingrid and John Hess, Jane and Sam Marrone, Margaret and Patrick Steele, Wendy Winnick Baskin and Rich Baskin, and Terrie and Jay Wood.

Additional thanks to longtime Darien friends and advocates such as the Community Fund of Darien, Rotary Club of Darien, and Carver’s many Darien donors and volunteers.

Connections! These house parties are a valuable time for friends to gather in their communities to learn about and celebrate Carver’s mission and accomplishments.

We are deeply grateful to the Darien Connections committee members and our generous hosts for their generosity and thoughtfulness in opening their networks of friends and their lovely home to learn about and to support Carver youth.
