Earlier this week, we shared the excitement of Carver students assembling at our Community Center to embark on their journey to The Ecology School in Maine.
Today, we’re thrilled to report that 83 Carver students in grades 6 through 9 have officially arrived—and are already immersed in an unforgettable summer learning adventure.
Now in its fourth year, our partnership with The Ecology School remains one of Carver’s most treasured enrichment opportunities. Set against the stunning backdrop of Maine’s coastline and forests, students experience the wonders of the natural world firsthand through activities that include canoeing, tidepool exploration, beach visits, and nature hikes.
More than just an outdoor escape, this experience deepens students’ understanding of environmental science, fosters teamwork and independence, and opens their eyes to new ways of learning.
Whether paddling across calm waters or discovering marine life at low tide, Carver youth are making memories—and building confidence—that will stay with them long after they return home.
This unique opportunity reflects Carver’s commitment to hands-on, high-impact enrichment that sparks curiosity and empowers students to see themselves as explorers, learners, and stewards of the planet.
Stay tuned for more stories and photos as this incredible week unfolds!
