The Courage to Speak Parent Drug Prevention Training program is now available online. The training was adapted from the parent drug prevention education program that has been shared in NPS schools and throughout the community. The program is called Courage to Speak – Courageous Parenting 101 “Parenting Through the Opioid Crisis and Beyond.”
Parents will learn about the drug and opioid epidemic happening in America, how to tell the signs of drug use, how to effectively communicate with their children about the dangers of drugs and much more. Accessible from anywhere at any time, parents have the ability to login to the Courage to Speak website and complete a skills-based training on their own schedule. A translate button on the site provides access to the training in a variety of languages.
