Describe your favorite memory at the Roton Middle School Summer Transition Program.
“My favorite memory here is playing dodgeball with all my friends. It’s really fun.”
Who is your role model?
“I really look up to my mom. She’s really successful. She’s a medical assistant and I want to be a scientist when I grow up. My mom really liked science as a kid.”
What do you want to be when you grow up?
“I want to be a scientist because science is my second favorite subject, besides math. I like learning about earth and space”
What is your biggest dream?
“To go in a spaceship and explore space. I’m really fascinated by space.”
How has this program helped you prepare for middle school?
“If I didn’t go to this program, I would have been lost on the first day, but now I know where everything is.”
What’s the most important lesson that you’ve learned at this program?
“To listen to the teacher while they’re talking. One day I didn’t, and then I had no idea what was going on!”
How would you describe this program to someone who doesn’t know what it is?
“It’s super fun!”
