Darien Rotary Club's Spring Into Wellness Fair a great success for Carver!

Mark Nowotarski, Darien Rotary President, with volunteer members of Post 53 that has provided Darien for over 49 years with emergency medical services, while providing local high school students with an exceptional opportunity to serve their community. The dedicated volunteers of Post 53 operate three fully-equipped state-of-the-art ambulances, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The word traveled and the wellness fair was well attended today. Thank you, Darien Rotary members!

To welcome in Spring 2019, the Darien Rotary Club hosted a Spring Into Wellness! Fair today from 11:00am to 2:00pm to benefit Carver.

Event proceeds will go toward scholarships that enable Carver high school graduates in need to attend Norwalk Community College, helping them continue their education and improve their employment opportunities.

The event took place at Darien Office Suites, 30 Old Kings Highway South, 1st Floor Event Room, in Darien.

Visitors learned how to improve their health and wellness by sampling products and services from local organizations such as:

 LYMBR - Personalized stretching
 Andrew Stephanou Salon and Spa - Chair massages
 Darien EMS-Post 53 - Blood pressure checks
 Darien Health Department - Health information
 OsteoStrong - Spinal health therapy
 Phyllis Weihs-Yavner, LPC - Mental health wellness counseling
 Kristina Hess - Nutrition counseling
 Vasayo - Nutritional supplements
 Diana Lea - Young Living essential oils
 Green & Tonic - Cold pressed organic juices

Admission included vendor samples and information. There was also a raffle for products and services donated by community businesses. From all of us at Carver, many thanks to the Draien Rotary and to all the local businesses and volunteers who made this event possible. THANK YOU!
