St. Matthew's Episcopal Church continues its generous support of Carver kids!
For more than 20 years, St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Wilton has been consistently supporting the Carver mission.
On December 7, Steve Pettit presented the parish’s gift of $3,700 to Novelette.
The St. Matthew’s congregation has been worshiping together for more than 100 years.
Mr. Pettit has served multiple times as chairman of the church’s outreach committee, leading the church’s mission to provide financial support, and also volunteerism from the parish to help serve the community. The Wilton Family Y honored the Mr. and Mrs. Pettit as Outstanding Citizens of the Year in 2001, and in 2007 presented them with the Voluntary Action Center Award for Outstanding Volunteerism, citing thousands of volunteer hours to the Y for more than 20 years.
The Carver community is truly blessed to have such friends committed to advancing its mission to build lifetime achievers!
