Stamford Hospital says goodbye to military personnel

“We are grateful for your support in our fight against Covid-19,” hospital President and CEO Kathleen Silard said during the windy afternoon ceremony.

Calling the partnership between her staff and the task force “truly special,” she acknowledged the leadership of Hedenberg and U.S. Army Reserve Col. Patricia Olson.

“I have to tell you, walking around the hospital over the past several days I kept hearing over and over again, ‘We really are going to miss our military partners,’” she said.
