Your support today on Giving Day will help fund Carver’s important after school, summer and community initiatives. The charity that receives the most unique gifts of $10 or more will win the grand prize of $20,000.
American hero Katherine Johnson died at 101 -- her pioneering legacy will never be forgotten
Katherine Johnson died yesterday at the age of 101. She was the youngest of four children. Her mother was a teacher and her father was a lumberman, farmer, and handyman. Johnson showed strong mathematical abilities from an early age. Her ability and passions could be those of any Carver student.

Senior guard Jahmerikah Green-Younger , in Albertus Magnus College men's basketball's 105-97 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) win over Lasell University last Wednesday evening, tallied his 1,000th-career point.
Jahmerikah and his family are longtime members of the Carver community.
